What you got up to in September...

September was a busy month: not only was it our first Building Life Cycle, in partnership with Forcia and Lockton; but we also traversed northern Spain on Explore 2025 with 32 property professionals.

It was incredible to see so many of you out on bikes last month, and to meet many new faces as well. Thirty-one teams of four participated in the Building Life Cycle, competing across 77kms around the Sussex countryside in what was a very fun day out, while another 32 property industry professionals conquered 480kms from Bilbao to Madrid for Explore 2025, raising more than £53,000 and counting for Cyclists Fighting Cancer. Find out more about both below.

Activity zones installed in UK hospitals

Explore 2024's fundraising target was £40,000 to help our charity beneficiary Cyclists Fighting Cancer build activity zones at four children’s oncology centres throughout the UK, helping children and young people living with cancer to stay active.

Last year's riders smashed their fundraising target - hitting an incredible £55,492 - enabling Cyclists Fighting Cancer to broaden the scope and locations of their activity zones. Throughout this year, the charity - accompanied by some Club Peloton community members - have been delivering activity zone equipment to children's oncology units in Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester, Edinburgh, Leeds and Belfast. Find out more below.

How your fundraising is transforming lives

Can you help Cyclists Fighting Cancer?

Cyclists Fighting Cancer is participating in Edinburgh’s Royal Hospital for Children and Young People ‘Wie Move’ activity day on 18th October and is looking for Hub members to come along and help them out between 9am and 1pm.

Hosted by the hospital’s Haematology and Oncology Department, ‘Wie Move’ is a day of movement, fun and connection for cancer patients aged 0-18 years, treated at RHCYP, both living with and beyond cancer.

It’s a great day out and seeing how CFC’s donations of new bikes help young children first hand is incredibly moving. If you are able to help, please get in touch with Kate or Mike.
