The Building Life Cycle joins the Club Peloton roster

Published on October 9, 2025

Last Friday, 12th September, was the first Building Life Cycle under Club Peloton's direction, with Forcia's Terry Crawford handing over the reins of an incredibly well-oiled event after ten years.

Taking place in partnership with Forcia and Lockton, Building Life Cycle's format remains unchanged: teams of four in friendly competition for the coveted Building Life Cycle Cup, awarded to the fastest overall team, and the Doris Roccia Memorial Cup  presented to the fastest women's team.

Friday's event was a huge success and a fun day out. Following a hearty breakfast of pastries and coffee, 31 teams from the property and construction industies competed over 77kms around the Sussex countryside, for the most part managing to dodge the occasional heavy downpour while contending with some challenging winds.

While the emphasis is very much on 'friendly competition', the Building Life Cycle Cup went to the Club Peloton RR  team - Stephen Miles, Tom Boshell, James Jones and Jonathan Martin - and the Doris Roccia Memorial Cup to the DP9 team - Alex Milne, Annabel Freeman, Ailish Kinnea and Sarah Cary. There were also prizes awarded to the second placed teams (honorable mention to Price & Myers' Steady as She Goes and Pace and Tires who finished second in their respective categories), the Lanterne Rouge team, and something to do with someone's physique (possibly best left to those that were there on the day). The day was rounded off with freshly-cooked pizzas and plenty of beer.
