In summary: In the peloton with... David Lunts, OPDC

The latest guest in our and Velocity Magazine's "In the Peloton With...." webinar series was David Lunts, formerly the GLA’s Executive Director of Housing and Land, now Chief Executive of the Mayor of London’s Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC). He is currently overseeing one of the largest and most exciting regeneration projects not only in London, but across the whole of the UK.

The OPDC is developing a new major urban district in west London, using the investment in rail infrastructure projects High Speed 2 (HS2) and the Elizabeth Line (formally known as Crossrail) to deliver 25,000 homes, tens of thousands of jobs and new opportunities for people in the area.

During this webinar, David talked about the OPDC, its ambitious Local Plan, other current projects, and how the development will interact with HS2, lifting a lid on the area. He also talked about his cycling adventures, including how he got involved with Cycle to MIPIM, and faced Toby and David's infamous Quick Fire Round.
