Community news: Building Life Cycle, Explore and Knight Frank Cycle to MIPIM 2026

The Building Life Cycle is back...

We're delighted to announce that the annual Building Life Cycle is returning this September as part of Club Peloton's roster of events, in partnership with Lockton and Forcia. Together, we want as many people as possible from across the property and real estate industry to participate in this unique day.

The event format consists of teams of four in friendly competition for the coveted Building Life Cycle Cup, awarded to the fastest overall team. The Doris Roccia Memorial Cup will also be presented to the fastest women's team. Many other prizes will be awarded throughout the day, but as always, it’s a day about teamwork to ensure that we keep each other safe.

A Spanish adventure on Explore 2025

Explore 2025 is returning for its second outing from 25th-27th September. The three-day Bilbao to Madrid route will take on the Basque Country, the wine country of Ribera del Duero, the plains of Old Castile, and the Guadarrama mountain range over 480kms and 5,700m of ascent. It promises to be a test of both mental and physical resilience.

Bringing together a targeted cross-section of the real estate industry for three days of riding and networking, the ride will also raise vital funds to purchase 'infusion' bikes - specialised children's trikes equipped with IVs, allowing kids to move freely while undergoing treatment - for Cyclists Fighting Cancer.

With a maximum of 40 riders with full peloton and smaller group stages, NextGen participants also benefit from discounted entry when bought with a full price place. There will be plenty of time for both on- and off-bike networking. Find out more below.

The 2026 edition is a special one - celebrating 20 years of Cycle to MIPIM from the inaugural Cycle to Cannes ride in 2006, when 17 intrepid individuals decided to cycle to MIPIM instead of flying there. It was the beginning of an incredible adventure and we'd love you to join us for this major milestone event.

Changing lives for Coram with pedElle

Massive congratulations to the riders of pedElle 2025, who endured conditions ranging from sun and rain to headwinds and plagues of horse flies, to cycle more than 550kms and climb almost 6,000m from Kenmare, Co. Kerry, to Dublin at the end of June. The breathtaking route took in the Gap of Dunloe, the stunning Wild Atlantic Way, and the rugged beauty of the Wicklow Mountains. Coincidentally (we think), Guinness has reported unprecedented sales during the same period. Catch up on their adventures and the amazing photos here.

pedElle is raising funds for our charity beneficiary Coram, helping them to support young people leaving care without the support they need. More than one in ten care leavers aged 18 to 20 experience homelessness and the money raised can create change that lasts a lifetime. Local Hubs news & rides

The Leeds Hub held its inaugural ride earlier this month, and we very much enjoyed meeting some of the Hub members. The Hub is gaining momentum so do get involved if you're in the area. The Leeds Hub will be out riding on 8th August, 5th September and 3rd October. Find all the details here.

The Edinburgh Hub held its one year celebration ride in June - a day out exploring the Lothians, travelling from the Castle to the Lammermuirs and the East Lothian coast beyond, and taking in the best cafés, hills, back roads, fish & chips, and distilleries on offer. They'll be back with more rides soon.
