Cycle to PAW 2025 - Day 1 update

London to Newhaven - 108kms

Meeting at 4:15am for a 5:00am roll out, Day 1 of Cycle to PAW 2025 is taking no prisoners. After a porridge pot and a photo in front of St Paul's, 24 riders from the arbitration industry roll out for stage 1 through a sleepy London and due south towards the village of Copthorne, Mid Sussex. 

Refuelled by bacon sandwiches at The Old House Inn, it's still only 8:30am when they head out for Stage 2 - another 56kms to Newhaven for the ferry crossing. After their safe arrival into Dieppe, and dinner at the aptly-named Café des Tribunaux (English translation: 'courts'), it's time for an early night and a well-deserved sleep.

Dieppe to Beauvas - 119kmsA day of gorgeous sunshine, beautiful cycle paths and peaceful French roads, stunning countryside, learning the benefits of riding on the wheel, and working together as a group, punctuated by crepes, poulet, croque monsieurs and a lot of frites.Great work by the peloton ticking off 119kms and gelling together like a team.
