Cyclists Fighting Cancer kit drop ride
Last Friday, an intrepid bunch of eight cyclists from the Club Peloton community cycled 100 miles from London to Stratford-upon-Avon to deliver unwanted cycling kit to our charity beneficiary Cyclists Fighting Cancer.
It was a chilly (but thankfully dry) November day and they kept the pedals turning in high spirits, with only one pit stop in the warm to top up on hot chocolate before the final leg. A fabulous team effort that allowed us to see behind the scenes at CFC (so MANY bikes!) and learn more about the incredible work the charity does supporting children living with cancer.
The small but perfectly formed peloton were: David Hart, Terry Crawford, Paul Wheller, Stephen James Mugford, Tim Lynch, Paul Burke, Franck Robert and Mark Limbrick.
Thanks also to Andy Matthews for the fantastic photographs and generous crew support, complete with a 'mega-cone', and to Mike Grisenthwaite and Matt from CFC for receiving us so warmly and giving us a tour of CFC HQ.
