Extra Mile Challenge 2026
18th-20th September
New to the Club Peloton calendar but with a 22-year legacy, the Extra Mile Challenge takes you on a three-day journey through France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
As part of a team of four you'll take on a 500 mile relay, riding around 40-45 miles each per day, split into manageable stints. Put your strategic skills to the test and choose how to divide the effort, whether splitting distances evenly or playing to individual strengths. Raise funds for your own charity and Club Peloton (75/25 split).
Whether you're new to cycling or a seasoned rider, this supportive, non-competitive event is all about teamwork, shared achievement and unforgettable memories. Travel with your team, enjoying two-night stays in Mons and Luxembourg, and celebrate every mile together.

What you've been up to...
May and June have been packed with incredible rides and fundraising success.
In May, 20 riders took on SLR Cycle to UKREiiF, cycling 165kms over two days from Kendal to Leeds through the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Together, they've raised more than £13,000 for Cyclists Fighting Cancer - enough to provide 40 lightweight bikes, along with helmets, additional equipment and specialist support, for children and young people affected by cancer.
Then, in June, 35 women from the property industry travelled to Andalucía for pedElle. Soaring temperatures and very little shade made for a demanding but spectacular three-day stunning ride. Together, they've raised more than £35,000 for Coram, helping provide lifelong support to children, young people and families before, during and after adoption.
We then headed north to Scotland for the BCO Cycle Challenge, joining riders on a spectacular three-day journey from Aviemore to Edinburgh. Blue skies, passing showers and breathtaking scenery made for an unforgettable ride, with participants raising vital funds for the BCO Conference's chosen charity, Spifox.

Explore 2025's infusion trikes have arrived!
In 2025, Explore raised more than £54,000 to buy 20 Dutch-made infusion trikes for children’s oncology centres in the UK for our charity beneficiary, Cyclists Fighting Cancer. Rather than lying in bed or moving around with an IV pole while receiving treatment for cancer, children are able to move freely while undergoing treatment thanks to these engineered trikes equipped with IV pumps and bags – relieving boredom and helping them to stay active.
Since the trikes made their debut launch at a hospital in Utrecht in September 2024, they have brought joy and mobility to many young patients. Following a successful trial at Sheffield's Children Hospital, 16 trikes have now arrived in the UK – with the first one delivered to Addenbrooke's, Cambridge, last Sunday, join by pedEller Paola. Keep an eye out for announcements on our WhatsApp community for details of others being delivered.
