Day 2: Knight Frank Cycle to MIPIM 2026
Friday 6th March: Ouistreham to Blois - 287kms (and a bit)
After the overnight ferry crossing and a 4:45am alarm call, the peloton is decanted into a soggy Ouistreham and a ride out into drizzle. They arrive into the first coffee stop looking like they've showered in mud and muck, but the weather turns warmer and drier.
It's a long day through northern France’s broad flat landscapes and expansive skies, punctuated by pretty stone villages and the occasional grand chateau. After five stages - including lunch and dinner on the road - the group arrives into Blois at 10:20pm, having collectively covered almost 300kms today. Chapeau. A grand first day in France, and one day closer to Cannes.
