Northern Power Ride 5th – 6th September 2019

Northern Power Ride 2019

Legal & General and JLL invite you to join them on the Northern Power Ride. This year’s two day, 330km (200 mile) ride focuses on promoting diversity and inclusion… because we believe amazing things happen when you bring together a mix of people, different ideas and new ways of thinking!

Over two days, you will travel through County Durham to the Yorkshire Dales and on to Manchester. The ride will give you the chance to push yourself, meet people and share new ideas.

The ride will be run as a relay, enabling cyclists to take a stage off the road should they wish. Each day will be split into at least 4 stages with 3 designated stops.

Riding as a peloton you’ll experience the full support of lead car, motorcycle marshals, mechanics, sports therapists and medics; helping riders of all abilities feel like a pro. The ride is also raising funds for two amazing charities – Coram and Crisis.

This year we’ll be joined by Richard Parks – a former Wales international rugby player turned Extreme Environment Athlete. Richard spends his life taking on extraordinary challenges. He holds the Guinness World record as the first person to climb the highest mountain on each of the world’s seven continents and stand on all three poles in a seven month period. He’ll be riding alongside you, sharing his experiences of how to build a diverse team of people who can help you achieve something truly extraordinary.
