Cycle to MIPIM 5th – 10th March 2020

THE LAUNCH EVENT
WHAT IS CYCLE TO MIPIM?

Cycle to MIPIM is our original endurance charity bike relay, open to cyclists of all abilities, covering 1,500km from London to the international real estate show, MIPIM, in Cannes over six days. Over 200 professionals from the property industry ride in a relay format, completing two 60km stages each day.

In 2020 the ride is changing – with a new headline sponsor and three new routes…

Come down to the launch event at The Foundling Museum (40 Brunswick Square, Bloomsbury, London WC1N 1AZ) where all will be revealed…

The 2019 ride took place from the 7th to the 12th March, covering three routes:

  • London – Calais – Cannes (via Folkestone)
  • London – Caen – Cannes (via Portsmouth)
  • Bari – Cannes (tester route for 2020 – click here to view the ride infographic)

Riders raised an incredible £450k! A huge effort by all our riders and a BIG thank you from our charities.

WHY AM I RIDING?

  • Don’t be put off by the fundraising target– there are lots of ways we can help you

Fundraising for our charity partners, the event has helped make the overall total raised by Club Peloton more than £3.4 million.

The ride itself is extremely challenging, with early starts, long days and late finishes. Riders have the opportunity to network with a diverse group of industry associates, while experiencing what it’s like to be a pro cyclist. The fully supported ride comprises; mechanical support, medics, sports injury therapists, motorcycle outriders and lead car – keeping you safe and confident on the road. Cyclists have to learn to work together as a group as tired bodies are challenged by early morning starts, variable weather conditions and challenging climbs. This all helps to contribute to the bonds that form between riders over the six days, making the celebrations in Cannes all the more special.
